This year, the Silent Auction will feature small and miniature quilts for your bidding pleasure. These mini masterpieces vary in size up to a maximum perimeter of 120 inches and are constructed using a variety of themes, styles, and techniques. From holiday themed quilts to art quilts, there will be something for everyone. These quilts, lovingly made by members of the Hot Springs Village Quilt Guild, are the perfect size for a table centerpiece or wall hanging.

Bidding on each quilt will start at $20 and continue in $2 increments until each auction closes. We’ll have two different sets of quilts to be auctioned each day of the show, so you will want to stop back often. Can’t wait? There will be a Buy-It-Now price on each quilt.

Winning bidders may pick up their quilts as soon as each auction closes. But you need not be present to win.

Be sure to come by the silent auction area during the show to check out and bid on these beautiful quilts.

Optimist international is a service organization with the motto: Bringing out the best in kids.

The Hot Springs Village Optimist Club has served the Village and the schools of our area – Fountain Lake, Jessieville, and Mountain Pine - for over 25 years.

Tri-Sport Challenge is for all 4th through 6th graders at the three schools. In the fall girls compete in soccer skills and the boys compete in football skills. In the winter boys and girls both compete in basketball skills.

The Oratorical and Essay contests are for high school students. Winners of the HSV Club’s contests move on to the Optimists’ District contests. In 2018 a Junior from Jessieville won the District Essay contest and earned a $2,500 scholarship.

The Conservation Club is over 20 years old and serves the fourth graders from each of the three elementary schools. Each month a Nature Specialist from the Arkansas Fish and Wildlife or the State Parks speaks to the students on topics ranging from fish to bears to geology.

Cedar Mountain Boys and Girls Club has partnered with the HSV Optimists in an ever-expanding list of activities for their youth programs.
